Charming Christmas Tree Skirt Sewing Pattern
This pattern creates a star-shaped tree skirt to go under your Christmas Tree. You can use any combination of fabrics and even can add your own applique design and make it your own. It consists of eight panels, sewn into a circle, then layered with quilt batting and a backing fabric. Can be quilted simply, or as elaborately as you wish. Binding gives a nice, finished edge. Fabric ties hold the skirt closed around the tree.
Finished circumference is 104 x 104cm

Materials
70cm cotton quilting fabric - Colour 1. Click here for fabric selection
70cm cotton quilting fabric - Colour 2
1.1m backing fabric
1.1m quilt batting
1 fat quarter cotton quilting fabric for binding, cut on bias in 2" strips
80 x 30cm cotton quilting fabric for ties, cut on the grain OR ribbon for ties
