Jewelspun AranThe elegant Bellflower Poncho is a top-down, in-the-round knitting pattern with flowing lines of seeded rib stitch. Neat increases create mock raglan shoulder seams while a contrast rib adds structure around the armholes. Knitting in-the-round with self-striping Sirdar Jewelspun creates a more subtle stripe than knitting separate front and back panels, so choose your favourite shade and discover a new effect.

When substituting yarn, compare the tension gauge of the pattern and the yarn. Working a tension square to determine the suitability of the yarn as a substitute is recommended - to compare the tension for sizing but also to test whether it creates the texture you are after.
To determine the quantity needed, compare the total meterage needed in the pattern to the meterage on the substitute.
